"In 2008 after completing my Honours degree in Forensic Chemistry at UTS, I received an interview at Sydney University for an opportunity to study Medicine. On the day of the interview I decided to get a tattoo instead, "Follow your dreams" which marked my dream of becoming a tattoo artist.
Decorating my skin with beautiful body art and expressing who I am and my story through my ‘ink’ is more important to me than pursuing a career in an industry like medicine, that hasn't always allowed self-expression or accepted visible tattoos.
I have been tattooing professionally for 15 years on Sydney's North Shore/Northern Beaches and I opened my studio 'Art On Skin' in 2014 in beautiful Atarmon. I love being a part of the Artarmon Village Community for almost 10 years and the first tattoo studio in the Willoughby, Lane Cove and Kuringai Council areas.
I hope that Art On Skin and the work created here will help change people’s perception about tattoos and the tattoo industry."
