Please follow these instructions to ensure you achieve the best fading results from your tattoo removal procedure and for successful healing
• Remove bandage after 2 hours and wash with cool or warm soapy water and pat dry with a clean towel.
• You may apply a cold compress (ice pack) as necessary for the first 24 hours to help reduce discomfort and inflammation.
• Apply a generous coating of Post Laser Aftercare cream (available to purchase at the studio) or Aloe Vera up to 4 times a day for up to 21 days or until fully healed.
• Baths, hot tubs, pools or any form of soaking are not recommended for at least 72 hrs as to reduce the risk of infection.
• Blistering may occur due to water retention (not due to laser burn) and can be a natural part of the healing process. DO NOT pop or pick blisters as this is likely to cause infection and scaring. Let them subside on their own and treat the area with antiseptic cream such as SAVLON.
• You may exercise after 24 hours from the treatment, wash the area afterwards. Avoid contact sports.
• Avoid direct sun exposure for 4 weeks (cover treated area with clothing and use SPF 50+)
• If crusting or scabs develop, do not pick, scratch or shave the area and continue with antiseptic cream.
• Avoid wearing makeup, or other creams on or near the treated area for at least the first 2 days after treatment.
• Drink lots of water and exercise regularly to improve your circulation, lymphatic system and the fading of your tattoo.
• Healing can take 1-3 weeks depending on aftercare and the individual’s overall health.
• Contact us or your healthcare professional if you experience any signs of infection or abnormal symptoms.
